Corrugated Roof Panel Installation

Corrugated roof panels – Calculate how many panels, cover the roof. Measure all the sides of the roof, and then dividing by the size of each panel. There is one very important thing to consider: when the corrugated panels are located on a roof, they will often have a “footprint” that is less than their actual width corrugated boards must overlap by about 2 inches.

Thinner fiberglass corrugated roof panels can be cut lengthwise with a utility knife, otherwise you will have a circular saw with the relevant magazine. Draw a chalk-along taken to ensure the panels are in progress. Straight. Start the first row of panels from the bottom corner of the roof and work your way to the other end, making sure to overlap the panels and line them up to the chalk-line.

Secure all three sides of the first panel, but wait until you fix the next panel, overlapping the last ridge in the first panel, and fasten both panels together. Try to have around 20 nails in each panel. Repeat this for each subsequent panel. When you’ve finished the first row, starting the second row right above it. Make sure the bottom of the next row of panels overlap slightly at the top of the bottom row. Once you have established panels, install ridge caps around the entire perimeter of the roof and along the roof top. Your corrugated roof panels was done.
